>> Quran Links Islam means resignation to the will of Allah. Therefore, A muslim has to
submit himself/herself to the Will of Allah in all matters. This is the Deen
(religion) taught by all prophets of Allah including the last of the prophets,
Mohammed(S.A.S). After the advent of prophet Mohammed (S.A.S), Islam means
believing in Allah and accepting whatever is given by Allah's prophet,
Mohammed(S.A.S).
A reading of Qur'an (the Holy Book) will make it easy to understand how Allah
ordained the humans to follow the right path (Siraat- ul -Mustaqueem). It
is also clear from the following Qur'anic verses
that obeying Mohammed(S.A.S) is obeying Allah.
Allah says in Qur'an
" So obey Allah and obey His Messenger But if ye turn back, the duty of
Our Messenger is but to deliver" (AL-TAGHABUN /12).
"Nor does he (Mohammed) say (aught) of (his own) desire.
It is no less than inspiration sent down to him; (AL-NAJM/3&4).
"He who obeys the Messenger, obeys Allah..."(AL-NISA/80).
"Those who oppose (the commands of) Allah and His Messenger will be among the
most humiliated" (AL-MUJADALAH/20).
Thus it is clear from the above Qur'anic verses that obeying Allah and His
Messenger is obligatory in Islam.
Qur'anic verses wherein the advent of Mehdi and his community is implicitly
stated:
Surah Hud, Verse 17:
"Will he who has a clear proof from his Lord, which acts as evidence from Him,
before which the Book of Moses was a way-giver and a grace, Whoever among the
partisans does not believe in it shall have Hell as the promised award. So have
no doubt about it, for surely it's the truth from your Lord, though most men may
not believe.
Surah Al-Ma'ida, Verse 54:
"O ye who believe! Whoso of you becometh a renegade from his religion,
(know that in his stead) Allah will bring a people whom He loveth and who love
Him, humble toward believers, stern toward disbelievers, striving in the way of
Allah, and fearing not the blame of any blamer. Such is the grace of Allah which
He giveth unto whom He will. Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing."
