Our Programs
At Mahdavia Foundation, we are dedicated to enriching the spiritual and religious lives of our Mahdavia community. We offer a variety of programs and services designed to support and engage all members in their Islamic faith journey. Our offerings include educational programs for children, a Ladies Book Club, opportunities to ask questions to knowledgeable scholars, publishing Islamic books, online quizzes, and joyous Eid events and celebrations.
Sunday Classes
Join our weekly Sunday Mahdavia Islamic classes with renowned scholar Peer-o-Murshid Syed Mehmood Badrudduja Munawari. Open to children aged six and above, accompanied by their fathers, these engaging one-hour sessions focus on Surah memorization, essentials of Tawheed and Aqeedah, Islamic history, Akhlaq, and public speaking. Classes run from noon to 1 pm every Sunday
Ask a Scholar
Our "Ask a Scholar" program offers you the chance to seek insights from Mahdavia scholars, with Hazrath Peer-o-Murshid Mufti Syed Zameer Mahdi Sahib as our resident scholar. This initiative documents and shares questions and answers on our website, enriching our community's collective understanding. We look forward to expanding our panel with more esteemed scholars in the future.
Ladies Book Club
Our Ladies Book Club meets monthly to discuss and explore various Islamic books. Having recently completed "Ideal Muslima," the group will soon begin a new inspiring Islamic book.
Celebrations
Mahdavia Foundation joyously celebrates Eid-Al-Fitr and Eid-Al-Adha with vibrant community events in the suburbs. These events bring together adults and children for festive activities and delicious feasts. We also organize ad-hoc summer picnics to strengthen our community bonds.
Islamic Books Publishing
Publishing Islamic books in both Urdu and English is the cornerstone of our organization, aimed at reaching those who are not conversant with Urdu. We are dedicated to providing valuable religious resources that enrich the knowledge and faith of our diverse community. Our commitment to this mission was the foundation upon which our organization was built.
Islamic Quiz for Kids
We offer engaging online quizzes for kids via Kahoot, making learning interactive. Additionally, we had an online program dedicated to memorizing and reciting the names of Allah, fostering a deeper connection to faith from the comfort of home.
Taraweeh prayers
Mahdavia Foundation hosts Taraweeh prayers in the suburbs during Ramadan. Around 150 people from the Mahdavia community gather for three nights to pray, fostering spiritual growth and unity. These prayers are conducted in a rented venue.
Quran Memorization & Tafseer
Mahdavia Foundation organizes a Quran Memorization Competition and Tafseer sessions led by a respected Mahdavia Murshid, inspiring children to develop a deep connection with the Quran. These initiatives encourage kids to engage in memorization and understanding of the Quran, fostering a lifelong love for their faith. Through these programs, we aim to instill Islamic values and knowledge that will guide them throughout their lives.
