Q: Why do Sunni offer Nafil prayer, and we offer Tahiyyatul wuzu as soon as we do ablution? Can we offer tahiyatul wuzu and then nafil also?
We offer Tahiyyatul Wuzu instead of Nafil because Tahiyyatal Wuzu has fazeelath (superior quality) over Nafil. You do not need to pray Nafil after performing Tahiyyatul Wuzu.
